The Bungay Festival of Running

The weather was kind to us all with a massive group of runners flying the Red flag to take part and support in the 10K, Half Marathon and Full Marathon at Bungay on Sunday 19th April.  With 5 people finishing the 10K, 14 people in the Half Marathon and 6 in the Full Marathon there were comments from spectators wondering if there was anybody left in Felixstowe.  Others commented that supporters and runners were making ‘too much noise’, as if that were ever possible.  A great day out for all involved with many PB’s and people running the distances for the first time, although many will still be running the six hills between Bungay and Beccles in their sleep…..

Not that’s its really important but I ran in the 10K at Bungay. My very first medal! I also managed in less time than I thought! Just over an hour – 71.22? Roughly. I don’t seem to see the result in my box. Thanks

These are the 2015 results Trish. Your result is definitely there for the 2016 results.
