Felixstowe Road Runners descend on St Joseph’s college, Ipswich for another Ipswich Jaffa’s Friday 5

This years installment of the annual Ipswich Friday 5 was a great success for our wonderful club seeing a large number of PB’s.

Following an afternoon of black cloud and rain the weather took a turn in our favour.  The clouds parted and the sun shone as if purposely for this wonderful annual event.

Another fantastic FRR turn out with a 37 strong team in attendance.  Our first male over the line being Luke Whitwell finishing in 22nd place with 31:02.  Our first female over the line was Gail MacKie finishing in 127th place with 37:46.  A huge well done to everyone.

If you have not already signed up for the remaining 4 races in the Friday 5 series there is still plenty of time.
