Suffolk County Athletic Association Cross Country Championships – Sunday 8th January 2017

fram-xc

The above event takes place every year and unlike the cross country series (where you just turn up to run) the Championships have to be pre-entered. The main aim of the event is for team selection for the inter counties to run for team Suffolk, but all abilities are welcome and all ages from under 11 to seniors have their own races over different distances.  This years event is being held at Heveningham Hall IP19 0PN so with 2K, 3K and 4K loops promises to be very interesting.  The club will pay for your entry (£8 seniors, £6 for U17 and below, age as at 31st Aug) so as long as you tell me that you wish to run in this event by my deadline of Tues 8th December as all entries have to be submitted electronically against your UKA competing member number. So to run in this race you need to be a competing first claim member of FRR and run in red club T-shirt or vest, in doing so you will be eligible to not only run as an individual but can qualify to run in the team event as well.  Contact me on Facebook or e.mail on membership@frr.org.uk if you wish to enter and more information can be found on the attached SCAA link. http://suffolkathletics.org.uk/Temp%20work/crosscountry.htm#County_Champs

In addition to this, each club is asked to provide a couple of marshals to assist with the running of the event as the event is hosted by SCAA but open to all Suffolk clubs. If you are willing and able to help and support this event (and your club in the process) please also contact me.
