Framlingham Cross Country @ The Sports Club

The first event in the 2017/18 cross country series, the club will pay for your £4 entry but you must run in club colours (Red FRR T-Shirt/vest) and be a competing member.

Race HQ: Framlingham Sports Club, Badingham Road, Framlingham. IP13 9HS.
Start Times: 10.40am: Junior Race(ages 11-16), this race is one loop of our senior course, approx. 1.5 miles.
  10.42am: Under 11’s Fun Run (no minimum age), this run is held entirely on the start/finish meadow, approx. 800m.
11.00am: Senior Race(ages 16+), this is three loops of our course, lots of ups and downs and hopefully plenty of mud!, approx. 4.5 miles.

All races start and finish on the picturesque Castle Meadow, a 5 minute walk from Race HQ.
Please note that due to limited parking space over the winter months we ask that you please car-share wherever possible. It will make things much easier both for us as organisers and for you as competitors. We’d really appreciate your support on this matter.

As usual, homemade cakes and hot drinks will be available both before and after the races.
Please note that NO DOGS are allowed on the Sports Club playing fields.

Fees for each senior runner remain at £4 per race, payable on the day.

Juniors are free.

Woodbridge Cross Country @ Sutton Village Hall

The second event in the 2017/18 cross country series, the club will pay for your £4 entry but you must run in club colours (Red FRR T-Shirt/vest) and be a competing member.

Venue: The race headquarters are at Sutton Memorial Hall, situated on Old Post Office Lane on the far side of Sutton village as you approach from Woodbridge on the B1083. The postcode is IP12 3JQ. Note that due to limited parking space we would be grateful if you please car-share where possible.

Start Time: The junior race will start at 11:00am and the senior race at 11:15am prompt. Please note that the start is a 7-10 minute walk from Sutton Memorial Hall and adequate warning will be given in the Hall before the race start time.

Course: The senior race is approximately 4.7 miles and is a single lap course over some sandy, undulating heath land. The junior race is approximately 2.1 miles and is a shortened single lap version of the senior course. For those contemplating wearing spikes, you should be aware that the walk to the start is on a tarmac.
