Final instructions

Parking / Race HQ:
Parking is available at race HQ: Kirton Recreation Ground, IP10 0QQ
From the A14 take junction 59 (Trimley) towards Kirton, then after approximately 1 mile turn right following the race signage towards the recreation ground.
The car parking is tight, so please car share where possible.
Note that the entrance/exit is also used for the start of both races and finish of the 5 mile, so traffic will be stopped just before the fun run starts at 19:00 and again for the 5 mile start at 19:30. Finishing runners will have priority over cars wanting to leave, so you may have to queue if you intend to leave while the race is ongoing.

Numbers
You will need to collect your number at race HQ. Please ensure you arrive in plenty of time to do so in case of queues. Safety pins will be available if needed. There is space on the back of the number for you to fill in any medical information that our first aid team may require.
Numbers to be worn on your front. Do not give your number to anyone else; transfers must be made in advance.

Facilities
We have toilets, changing rooms and showers available in the pavilion.
There is no designated bag drop, so you are advised to leave your kit in your car or with your supporters.

Refreshments
Water will be provided at the finish of both races and there will be a water station about half way around the 5 mile course.
There will be a burger van on site so bring some money for that.
Please use the bins provided; anyone seen littering on course or on the recreation ground will be disqualified.

Headphones
No headphones will be permitted. That includes bone conduction. The race occurs on narrow country roads and you need to be fully aware of any traffic around you as well as hearing the marshals instructions.
