Felixstowe Road Runners hosted a completely unofficial half marathon on the 7th June 2015 in memory of Richard Bennett. A total of 30 club members raised approximately £200 for MIND and ran / walked either one or two laps to suit each individual’s current form and training requirements. Everybody enjoyed the long climb up duck pond hill and the warm run back through the town to the prom.
The spot prize winners on the day were Amanda Smith, Nicola Stevenson, Lee Crisp and Jon Wilding.
The Gazebo had its second outing and received positive comments and even two potential new members.
