Awards night 2023 results

Last night (2nd March) we hosted our awards night for 2023. A big thank you to Daniela for organising this!

MOST IMPROVED RUNNERS

Calculated based on age graded results from races in 2022 vs 2023. Minimum 5 races and 3 different distances per year. The best age graded performance from each of their 3 best distances in each year have been averaged and the differences compared.

BEN JACOBS CROSS COUNTRY RUNNERS

The committee wanted to name an award in Ben’s honour and as he had a particular affinity for cross country races, we felt that this was the appropriate choice.

Best average age graded performances across 3 or more XC races (SWL or county)
Age grading isn’t accurate on cross country events, but does give a reliably comparable metric.
