An award for the fastest female FRR at our flagship race

MOST IMPROVED RUNNERS
Calculated based on age graded results from races in 2024 vs 2025. Minimum 5 races and 5 different distances per year. The best age graded performance from each of their 5 best distances in each year have been averaged and the differences compared. (Up from 3 different distances in recent years as the racing scene is back to full strength)

BEN JACOBS CROSS COUNTRY RUNNERS
The committee wanted to name an award in Ben’s honour and as he had a particular affinity for cross country races, we felt that this was the appropriate choice.

Age grading isn’t accurate on cross country events, but does give a reliably comparable metric.
