I have tried, unsuccessfully at least four times to enter your Friday 5 race on June 3rd 2016. I have found it unbelievably difficult to scroll down the club list. When I finally made it, the club I’m a member of wasn’t on the list ( Suffolk Trail Runners). Please help!!
Barbara, Sorry to hear you’re struggling with the chiptiminguk.co.uk website. I presume you are struggling because you’re using a phone or tablet; it’s not a 100% user friendly experience on those devices. We have no control over the club list, that is maintained by ChipTimingUK themselves. Please do shoot an email off to info@chiptiminguk.co.uk for support from them. You can also contact the RD for Kirton via kirton5@frr.org.uk, but they will not be able to help you with your issues on the chiptiming website.
Hi, I had the same problem as Barabara, I emailed chiptiming, but didn’t hear back and I now see online entry has closed. Are entries on the night available?
Yes on the night
Thanks, enjoyed the race
Just a quick question for the fun run are juniors able 2 run 5 miles as well as seniors
Hi there – a runner needs to be aged 15 or above on the day of the race to be able to compete in a 5 mile race
As long as they are 16
I have tried in the past few weeks to sign up for this race without success. Now registrations seem to be unavailable. Please don’t tell me you’re full at 389 runners?!
Can I sign up on the night? I always run this event, doing the complete set of Friday 5’s.
Hi is registration closed now? Can I enter on the night? Thanks, jack
Yes
Hi,
Unfortunately I am going to have to withdraw from Fridays run due to injury. I know the entries are now closed so wanted to let you know incase you have a waiting list.
Kind regards,
Pippa
has on line entry closed or is the event full thank you
Online closed on the night yes
I’ve been put into the 60-64 age group for my result at the Kirton Friday 5 but was 65 in November 2015, 7 months before the first race in Framlingham, where I was put into M65 category. The rules of the series at http://www.friday5series.com state that you should take the age you are in the first race and keep it throughout the series: “For the purposes of series scoring, a runners age category will be determined by their age on the date of the first race in the series and will not change during the series”.
